"It just gets better and better and better"
Review of Germany 1 England 5 DVD by bones78

Advantages: Relive the Excitment again and again and again
Disadvantages: No extra as stated on the dvd

...win to achieve automatic qualification. Germany 1 - Engeeerrlaaanndd Fivvvveee!!! I can still hear the chants now. The starting whistle blows and the game kicks off. German striker, Janker takes advantage of England's ball watching defence and delivers what the England supporters believe to be the fatal blow in the 6th minute with the opening goal of the game. Then something amazing happened, something we hadn't seen for a long time and very rarely ...
...The running commentary from John Motson and Trevor brooking just adds to the hype and excitement when Owen restored the fans faith in the 12th minute with an equalizer that would later go on to make up his hat Rick. Good old Stevie G belts one in the back of the net smack bang on half time, and then it was Heskey 's turn to deliver the fifth and final goal for England. "Scholes again, now…. Heskeys to his left unmarked, Emile Heskey, could it be 5?..........YES ... Read review

Brian O Driscoll's Lions Tour Diary DVD
Review of Brian O'Driscoll's Lions Diary DVD by mabi

Advantages: hilarious outtakes
Disadvantages: none

This is an excellent dvd seeing the tour from one players perspective. Hilarious out takes and a conversation between Frank O'Driscoll and Leinster legend Ken Ging. It also details his views on the tour including that incident. It is worth a buy and have a laugh at the lions captain/irish and leinster captain doing outtakes alone at his old school at Blackrock College. This is one of the series for the lions tour dvd. There are some clips of the ... Read review

'The untouchables'
Review of Arsenal - 49 - The Unbeaten Run DVD by wardy-91

Advantages: Superb goals, well set out DVD.
Disadvantages: Bit too much talking sometimes.

...the class and finesse that Arsenal have when they score goals. The DVD is well set out, and gives you an detailed story of the outstanding unbeaten run that arsenal obtained a few seasons ago. It shows highlights of most of the matches, and ALL the goals. I think this DVD also proves what a great striker Theirry Henry was to Arsenal back in the 2005/6 season. If you are an Arsenal fan or just simply a fan of great football, then you should DEFINATELY ... Read review

A hard knock's life
Review of WWE - Mick Foley's Greatest Hits And Misses DVD by Yobbey

Advantages: That "Hell in the Cell" fight, other genuine classic fights also, plenty of DVD extras
Disadvantages: Maybe too brutal for some hence the 18 rating, no Death Match fights from Japan

I'm not quite the Wrestling fan I used to be, but if there's one Wrestler that I'll always have time for it's Mick Foley, aka Cactus Jack, aka Mankind, aka Dude Love. Whatever name he fought under, he always pushed the limits of his pain threshold in order to give the fans their money's worth in entertainment and put on the most amazing fights in wrestling history. This DVD contains some of Mick Foley's personal favourite and more memorable fights ...
...total. Not all are classic encounters, but they are fights that help define Micks history of wrestling during his time in ECW, SMW, WCW and the WWF - his more extreme fights from Japan are not on this DVD however. The fights are personally introduced by Mick who provides a little insight and history into each of the matches. People would argue as to what is the best fight on this DVD - for me it would have to be either the jaw-droppingly painful ... Read review
