Review of 400 Not Out! - Brian Lara's World Record Innings DVD by gurji123

Advantages: Great presentation,in-depth analysis, extra footage
Disadvantages: more for seasoned cricket fan

...to the incredible innings of 400 not out by Brian Lara against England. This is well worth a look for the great presentation with footage from Sky Sports and commentary complementing the great innings play by Brian Lara. It shows his progress considerably, and you are taken on an AUTHENTIC journey through his innings to greatness. The DVD recounts in considerable detail his former world record innings of 375 providing an excellent context into the ...
...Brian's 501 not out first class innnings which helps you to feel involved in the journey of his career - a great addition This is the first TRUE RECOUNT of his superb innings and the only BAD POINTS were that it can get a little long for casual cricket fans. Other than that this is a true recount of the innings. OVERALL: Well worth a look for cricket fans although not for the casual fan as it can get a little long. This is a more biographic stance ... Nothing Original.
Review of Ashes Fever DVD by awesomejim

Advantages: Shows a previously unseen angle of tlast summers ashes victory.
Disadvantages: Uses the same footage which was overused during the summer.

Sadly the much hyped ashes fever DVD does not live up to the fantastic summer of cricket that was provided. It just lacks any originality and appears to have been rushed in production, quite francly the 100 minutes is rather boring. Unfortunately the producers and editors have failed to use any new footage from what we have already seen in the summer. Sadly some of the clips and highlights provided are incorrect and shown out of sequence (on occasions ... Read review

A Taboo Pay Per View?
Review of WWE - Taboo Tuesday DVD by MizzMolko

Advantages: A couple of good matches and performances.
Disadvantages: Bias voting tactics, stupid matches, lots of time wasting.

...were two different shows of WWE action; Raw, shown on a Monday night in America, and Smackdown, which recently changed from a Thursday to a Friday night. It got too much for many people, even for the 'marks' (or the die hard, soap opera like fans) of the show who were fed up with seeing the same guys on top all of the time and hogging the coveted Championships. When the WWE announced their first ever 'fan interactive' pay per view in the early part ...
...a year in which the WWE don't mug us. I can never really see the point in buying the pay per view anyway; you might as well wait for the DVD to come out. Here, however, I shoved a tape in the cassette player the following day when it was repeated on Sky Sports and watched in 'awe' as history was made in the world of wrestling. Match #1: Chris Jericho defends his Intercontinental Championship against; Shelton Benjamin, Batista, the Coach, Rhyno, ... Read review
