After watching the movie the first time my reaction was mixed to say the least. Reading the description gives u a broad stroke to what the movie is about, but what it doesn't elaborate on is the fact that while "Will Smith comands the screen for most of the movie", most of the movie is 85% of it, leaving ur thoughts wondering at times to what to wear the next day and if u should get ur car washed. Yes there are zombies, and one man fighting them off looking for a cure seems to make for a interesting (if not somewhat overdone) plot. But it's the ending that makes this movie controversial. Advantages: Horror styled but not really frightening

I really enjoyed this film, i watched it in the cinema when it first came to the big screen and then went on to buy it on DVD. Will Smith played an excellent part. The film is good if you are not keen on gory horror films but do not mind monsters and the odd bit of action. I have been wanting to see this film since I saw the trailers for it at the cinema but with 3 young boys I am not able to get there and watch it so I had to wait for the DVD to come out. I do like Will Smith as an actor so was looking forward to watching this. Science fiction that you will want to watch over & over again. I saw this film when it first came out and it just blew my mind I thought it was brilliant & the graphics were just brilliant and even thought this film is now over 10 years old it still beats some of the new films out there today.
