...routines, with the lead character, THX 1138 - yes, they have an insignia as their name - shown as working as a handler of radioactive materials, carefully monitored by Big Brother-esq controllers. Within the environment these people inhabit, there are numerous "confessional" booths, which are automated - obviously showing that someone has the great idea of caring for people - but not too much. ...as i love all the star wars films. The old ones are alot better than the newer ones I think, but this one is still a good film. I like how they gradually tell the story over the three new ones about how they fall in love and how darth vadar is created. I found it very sad when padme had the twins and named them. after all they went through to be together. i wished it could of been a happier ending than it was. obviously i dont want to give away ...
...sets of films around, the special effects alone are amazing, putting some other films to shame i think. I think they should do another one, carrying on after number 6. Disadvantages: Pretty much the weakest of both trilogies...

...what seemed like forever... MORE STAR WARS!!! The problem is that when it arrived, the anticipation of the original trilogy had given us too much to hope for. For some, The Phantom Menace was more of the escapism magic that Lucas had conjured up for us in our younger years... and for others it was a vast, vast disappointment. I personally liked it though it certainly wasn't on par as a whole as the other three films that had preceded it... but then... ...

I have no objection to these digitally mastered versions and can only thank Lucas for the superbly updated special effects and little suprises that are great to look out for.
