After the successfulness of the Hills Have Eyes, this fails to capitalise on a great film and follow it with a lacklustre film. The films portrays the fight for survival of members of the National Guard against the familiar mutant creatures from the first one. Now starts the long drawn out process of them being picked off one by one, where as the actors create a lack of belief with the audience and therefore making out for some plain characters.
