Disadvantages: Bit hypocrtical of Disney

Wall.E is a weird film for me to go and see in the cinema. When you reach a certain age going to see cartoons in the cinema should be a taboo, it's not anymore thanks to Pixar but it still should be. I went to the late showing which wasn't so bad. I wasn't surrounded by small chidren who just stare at me inanely rather than watch the film. Wall.E is made by the same people who brought you all the other great Disney CGI films like Toy Story, Monsters ...
...for all ages as what Dreamworks came up with but the really nice ones that all had a certain charm and were great for children. For me anyway I thought Pixar-Disney had started to go abit downhill. I mean Cars and The Incredibles although massive commercial successes weren't (to me at least) as great as A Bugs Life and the other older ones but they started to come back with Ratatouille and now they're back on form with Wall.E. Nanny McPhee was one of my buys so I did not have to watch the football when it was on. I was quite impressed with the film. Emma Thompson plays the part of Nanny McPhee who magically turns up at the house of Mr Brown. Mr Brown has been recently widowed and he has been left looking after his 7, yes 7, children. He has no idea how to find her and later sees an article in his newspaper advertising her services but when he opens the paper he sees the children have cut out the details. Chipmunks the movie great for all ages my daughter loved it and must admit reminded me of when i was a little lad and used to watch the cartoons, Quality of the picture is amazing voices all sound the same as they used to. Starts off with the chipmunks becoming homeless and they end up at a struggling song writers house dave, who is unlucky with is songs and also unlucky in love, chipmucks cause mayhem in the house and dave's life seems to go from ...
...writes a catchy christmas number and everything changes, an old friend of daves spots the potential and corrupts the young chipmucks minds wih toys and sweets to make him loads of money so upto dave to convince them they are better with him. Advantages: new studio ghibli movie nice music and animation
Disadvantages: a bit short and the plot is a little jumpy, new and different

The most recent studio ghibli movie released in the west, however this title is different from previous works as it was directed by hayao Miyazakis son goro miyazaki ( Hayao Miyazaki created spirited away and princess mononoke for studio ghibli to name some of the better known titles released in the UK). This dvd comes with both an English subtitle and dubbed track. The English dubbing is quite true to the original script but I prefer the subtitles. ...
