Bambi I & II
Review of Bambi - Special Edition / Bambi II (Animated) by almarsden

Advantages: Great childrens film, improved sound and picture quality
Disadvantages: Second not as good as first

...when I saw a new Bambi II advertised on television I just had to go and buy it, yes I'm 25 years old but I still love children's films! It took me absolutely ages to find a copy of this DVD eventually I found it in a Tesco extra as part of the special edition which included both copies of Bambi. Advantages: contains every episode ever made, over 20 hours of DangerMouse and Penfold
Disadvantages: lack of decent extras, episodes not in chronological order

FIREBALL XL5 - Blast from the Past.

Fireball XL5 I had vague memories of this from when I was a child (I was born 1964) and so I guess must have watched repeats but watching the DVDs brought the series back clearly. Fireball XL5 was the fore runner of Stingray, Captain Scarlet and Thunderbirds. This was on tv in 1962, and Contained 39 episode.
