There's something not quite right about him, and it's facinating. ...we were doing 'Last Orders' last week, I thought I should rent the film from our library. I really enjoyed the book (as you can see from my review on it), I loved how intricately the characters were drawn; some parts of the narrative were so intimate you felt you could really associate and empathise with each of the characters. Advantages: Wonderful acting and great setting
Disadvantages: Not for those afraid of a good cry

This is a story which really captures the heart. Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet are perfectly cast. Thompson as the practical Elinor who alway puts everyone and everything before herself and her emotions, and Winslet as Marianne, the flippant and dizzy girl who must grow into a woman.
