...like to be entertained. Babel is not one of those films I have to say. I think the director strived to intertwine four stories into one movie but to me it did not gel. First off, the majority of the movie is in sub titles, which did not make the film easy to follow. The movie was complex enough without having to follow subtitles. Story was very well written, ties together beautifully. The music is powerful and the directing is magnificent. Stunning, very well made. It may not be very fast paced at some parts but some of the stories are tense enough to keep it moving on well. Studies the difficulties of language and cultural barriers very well.
