...am actually a fan of Desperate Housewives, the American produced television show that Channel 4 unleashed on the UK as the new 'Sex in the City'. I've just finished watching House Series 1 on DVD, having come to this series late in the day. Each episode is like a self contained medical detective story. House is a great character, irascible and difficult to work with but forgiven for this because of his great intelligence and snippets of compassion that peek through.
