...like to be entertained. Babel is not one of those films I have to say. I think the director strived to intertwine four stories into one movie but to me it did not gel. First off, the majority of the movie is in sub titles, which did not make the film easy to follow. The movie was complex enough without having to follow subtitles. I've just finished watching House Series 1 on DVD, having come to this series late in the day. Each episode is like a self contained medical detective story. House is a great character, irascible and difficult to work with but forgiven for this because of his great intelligence and snippets of compassion that peek through.
