Leslie Nielsen plays the title character in this live-action version of the cartoon of the same name. It doesn't work. There isn't nearly enough genuine comedy; instead, the focus is on the unfunny villains and clumsy pratfalls. The director is, strangely enough, Stanley Tong, who directed some of Jackie Chan's movies. That may explain the nods to martial arts, but it doesn't make them any less out of place. ...the third film in the Naked gun series and although it isn’t as good as the first two films it is still very funny. I find all films with Leslie Nielsen to be very funny. It last for just 83 minutes and the laughs don’t seem to stop all the way through it. It is a very funny film that i think everyone should watch. ... Read review

Airplane! has surely got to be considered as one of the all time greats of satirical comedy today. I absolutely adore these two films, they make my side split with laughter from begining to end !!!! if you are not a fan of spoof and silly humour you may not apreciate them but if you are ever down in the dumps watch one of these, if you don't laugh or smile you need sectioning ha ha !!!!
