Lee Evans XL Tour I am writing a review on the upmost brilliant comedian Lee Evans and his new DVD of his new Extra Large Tour based in wales. This is a full length concert of his stand up brilliance. I personally went to this tour in glasgow and he was fantastic, his material is exactly the same and was so funny. ...I love that song, and there's something about Mary, which I did find quite a boring song, but it stuck out because it was the same title as the film. I really did not rate much to the soundtrack, and thought that better songs could have been put in, but maybe that's because most of them was well before my time, or just unknown songs. ...My opinion ---------------- Ok well I did really enjoy watching this film, it was a very comical love story. I would not recommend kids watching it or anyone who does not like swearing as it does contain a lot of bad language, to me it just made it funnier, it seemed to be used just at the right time. Disadvantages: The whole DVD

...came out at Christmas, ' The World of Lee Evans', I didn't hesitate to buy it, thinking that we could all sit down and have a good laugh one evening. Baring in mind that for some reason I didn't read to back the of the DVD, and just assumed it would be his normal stand up comedy, we settled down for an evening of laughter, put it on and waited while a strange sketch started, which seemed as if it was a repeat of an early 1970s comedy show. Thinking ...
...we waited and waited, but the sketch went on and on - and wasn't even funny - just really odd! It was at this point that we read the back of the DVD and discovered that the DVD was a series of short comedy dramas. We perservered through another 2 sketches which again were really odd and not funny at all until we could stand it no more and turned it off. I went back into the case and hasn't come back out since. Bottom is a great comedy show that you can watch over and over again and you never get tired of it! This boxset is perfect for any fan of Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson as it is two great shows in one.
