...the TV show of Bewitched and they cast a real witch as Samantha. And unwittingly they also have a witch in the Endora role. Apart from briefly cool special effects this film is dire and ambles from scene to scene with no real ending.
Avoid in any way you can. ...

Mad Money? Bad Film. Sad Script.
Review of Mad Money DVD by
zoe_page
Advantages: Slightly amusing, and watchable
Disadvantages: Storyline unbelievable
Bridget (Diane Keaton) and Don (Ted Danson) are living a reasonably well-off life in a nice house on a nice street in a nice part of town. But when Don loses his job and the two fail to curb their spending, maintaining their nice lifestyle soon results in them running up a nice lot of debt. Forced to get a job, but with no recent experience or skills, Bridget rather unbelievably ends up scrubbing toilets in the Federal Reserve Bank. Now this is a ... ...to many hundreds of security checks, but, again, rather unbelievably, within moments of arriving, Bridget has found a foolproof plan to rob the joint, if only she can convince fellow employees Jackie (Katie Holmes) and Nina (Queen Latifah) to assist her. This is the one good part of the film - that instead of the usual blokes-doing-crime while the women folk sit at home and maybe come to rescue them in the end, it's the girls who are the naughty ...

A Mildly Wild Child
Review of Wild Child DVD by
afy9mab
Advantages: A glossy addition to the teen movie genre.
Disadvantages: It's hardly original.
...version of Christopher Otcasek's "Real Wild Child" is a crime against music.
"Wild Child" is a film that will find its greatest favour with its intended demographic of young teens. It's a fun stab at the teen movie genre with enough action and non-threatening totty to entertain all but the most jaded fourteen year-old girl. The performances are also lively enough to stop accompanying adults nodding off. It is by no means original, but I have seen ...

jonboy76
Advantages: Funny- great entertaiment

...out giving too much away the prison scene is so funny and the trouble these guys get themselves into is just hilarius and cringing at times. But who would wanna drop the soap in prison ??? lol
After watching this you will be singing the theme tune all the time for weeks on end. Peter Kay is not only one funy person but and good actor.

Review of Ricky Gervais - Live - Politics DVD by
elbar
Advantages: Very funny
Disadvantages: Very offensive
Ricky Gervais' Politics DVD is a fantastic piece of stand-up comedy. It is pretty offensive most of the way through and so not for the easily-offended! The opening should be a big clue. There is a pre-recorded sketch of Ricky Gervais outside Parliament poking fun at someone in a wheelchair. Ok I made it sound bad. In actual fact the man in the wheelchair is his fellow producer on the Office. But if you didn't know this (and I didn't) you might find ... ...show as though it is a series of lectures. The topics are all serious enough but do not stand a chance of remaining that way at the hands of Gervais. Some of these include:
Alzheimers, Stephen Hawkins, Ghandi, Hitler, Holocaust,
Slavery, Famine,
AIDS.
EXTRAS
A frightening insight into living with Gervais - made me feel slightly uncomfortable, as his oddness did not seem to be put on. Quite frightening but fascinating!
Also there is an interview ...
