This is a very violent film and also one of my all time favourites, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino the films takes a dark look at the under belly of LA criminal life following a number of disparate low life criminals. The time frame of the film constantly jumps back and forwards so the opening scene of a robbery in a diner also appears later in the film, at the outset the viewer is aware that violence will be a feature allied with strong ...
...because for many it was a film that revitalised their waining careers, in particular John Travolta who plays a low level thug recently back from a trip to Europe and Bruce Willis who plays a washed out boxer who is planning to take money to throw a fight from Travolta employer a violent drug dealer. Advantages: A fantastic Tarantino film, never a dull moment.
Disadvantages: Blink and you may just lose the plot.

Having long been a fan of Director Quentin Tarantino, it should come as no surprise that 'Pulp Fiction' is one of my favourite films of all time. I get excited about the films of few directors, however every time a new Tarantino film is released I am amongst the first to get down to the cinema and view it. ...it strikes me that 1998's Shakespeare In Love is an incredibly misunderstood movie, furthermore those that are in the category "misunderstood" have some serious wrong views of exactly what Shakespeare In Love is about, many believe it is a straight laced romance. Disadvantages: can be kind of slow at certain times but still watchable
