Advantages: You'll love it if you're after old-school violence and action.
Disadvantages: Dreadful acting, poor writing, pedestrian direction.

...And it's not as though Rambo would be a hero to the population anyway as he goes in to rescue the white people, leaving the locals to mop up and deal with any reprisals. The way Stallone shoots the action feels irredeemably naff. It's all about the explosions and bloody deaths that lack context so feel utterly gratuitous and there's even the clichéd device of showing the flames from a burning village reflected in the sunglasses of the evil army captain. ... Disadvantages: Not for those with a weak constitution, loads of blood

The Rambo series of movies is not one that I would have openly made an effort to watch, as I am not an outward fan of mindless violence. Give me zombies and vampires any day! I think a lot of my aversion to "war" films is the fact that I am married to a soldier, and don't really like to be reminded of the dangers faced, even if these dangers are grossly exaggerated on the big screen. Disadvantages: Not enough of the film. I wish there was more.

Rambo. The last Rambo film to be made they say. Well its definatly gone out with a bang. If you liked any of the other Rambo films this is a must see. In the first part of the film you are just waiting for rambos old killing sprees to be unleashed. And without a doubt he does unlesh them. He starts shooting and he just cant stop. Maybe fallen for the women he has to transport to the depths a a warzone along with her group or christian aid workers. ...
...incounters i have had with rambo films i was i little dissapointed when i got to the end of the film beacuse i thought it ended a bit quick. But what there was was amazing. Syvester Stallone at his best. Killing ripping and shooting. What more do you want from an action movie?
