...been to see the latest Indiana Jones film this morning and thought I would share my opinion on it. I have always been a fan of the Indiana Jones films and wondered whether this could live up to my expectations as after all it has been quite some time since the last instalment we had! It's no hidden fact that a lot of people wondered if Harrison Ford could pull it off and so with this in mind I wasn't sure if I was going to be disappointed or not! ...

Later on Indiana is asked to leave his position at the University due to the FBI not being pleased with him handing over information to the Russians and on his way out of town he is stopped by a young lad named Mutt, who tell hims his mother has been kidnapped but has managed to get a letter to him that she has told him to give to Indy has he will know what to do. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It's finally here, the fourth instalment of the Indian Jones series which we have waited 19 years for is finally here and the verdicts are in, but is it any good or not? I went to see this at the cinema this weekend with three others, one of which had never seen an Indian Jones film before (how is that possible?) but we talked her into it. ...the Russians as the baddies. Indiana Jones battles Soviet Communists who are trying to steal Mayan artefacts in the Amazonian jungle. They basically set off to find treasure, as is the premise in all the movies, and encounter various adventures along the way. There are lots of references to the previous movies. Advantages: Funny, Hugely entertaining, great cast, reasonable plot,
Disadvantages: Truly unbelievable in parts, bad timing, some naff effects, silly at times

I have always loved the Indiana Jones films, as they are each a little different but yet follow their own tried and tested formula. There is fast paced action, a quest, nasty villains, eye candy for the males with the heroine, a few scares and chills, plenty of funny moments and overall just great entertainment. The first three films were released fairly close together and I never really thought that we would see another Indian Jones film. Especially ...
...to see the latest offering, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, which I finally saw at the cinema yesterday, on Bank Holiday Monday. Did it disappoint or was it a raging success? Well a bit of both I guess but overall it was still fun and I did enjoy it. Disadvantages: Can be brought as part of the trilogy

Advantages: Paul Bettany plays the suave bad guy really well
Disadvantages: It went on too long and was hard to get into

I was lent Firewall by my boyfriend who had just recently bought it, it was his first HD DVD he bought and although the quality is miles better than standard I don't see why he paid what he did for it. I had heard of it before, when it came out and I was interested to know what Paul Bettany was like as a bad guy. It seems life couldn't get better for Jack Stanfield (Harrison Ford), a beautiful and clever wife, two bright kids and a wonderful home. ...
