This was a very exciting epic adventure about a few hundred soldiers against thousands of zulu warriors. The zulus had guns aswell as spears,one of the best seens was when they did the bull formation and kept flicking there shields, at the british soldiers. They were given the job of defending the outpost until help arrived. The best actor was michael caine who was responsible for the british soldiers at the outpost. It was also a true story set in the time when the british empire was in command of africa and india,and fareast lands like burma. Then unfortunately or fortunately what ever the case might be they decided to give back there lands. So be proud of a once great nation which voluntarely gave most or maybe all of its conquered land back. They have got there revenge by being able to live here when ever they want i suppose which is true. Any way on with the story it was set in 1880`s or something like that. They sang like the welsh voice singers when they were being taunted by the zulu warriors, which gave them hope. The zulu`s attacked and the british soldiers all formed ranks and caine said first rank fire then second rank fire. Then when they held them back the zulu`s saluted them as being warriors liked them and then they went home over the mountains. you should buy this product if you like to see great landscape aswell as good characters and good communication between each other and good combat sequences. The films a bit old maybe it should be remade. Its a good film to watch if you got the time.
