Zulu is one of the great action thriller's of the twentieth Century and keeps you hooked throughout. The battle at Rorke's drift in 1879 is painstakingly reconstructed in great detail, a marvellous feat given the age of the film.
The film portrays what the British are capable of acheiving when they really put their minds to it, no matter how high the odds are stacked against us.
The film of course is important not only for it's historical significance, but alsi because it launched Michael Caine onto our screens in his first co-starring role, aloneside Stanley Baker.
If you still haven't seen this film, but it now!
