Zorro's Black Whip - Vol. 1 DVD

Advantages: A very enteraining film.
Disadvantages: Went in thinking the actors had been miscast!

Zorro relies on his skill and strength using only the weapons of a sword and a whip in the same manner similar to Indiana Jones. Unlike a lot of other heroes he also has a distinctive calling card. He leaves his mark simply by carving the letter "Z" into whatever he can, whether this is a wall, a man's chest or clothing it is this symbol that not only infuriates the people that Zorro is up against but also delivers them a strong message. A mesasage of hope is given to the people who are suffering. Visually Zorro is different as well, an all black costume worn with a flowing Spanish cape, a flat-brimmed Analusian hat, and a black cowl mask that covers the top of the face and head from the nostril level upwards to hide his identity. ...The film is a certificate 18, which is not at all surprising due to the language and violence. Interestingly this is Tarantino's first film that does not contain the F word over one hundred, a meagre 17. The DVD features include - Set Up You can watch the film in English or English DTS You can have subtitles in English, English for the hearing impaired or none - Scene Selection I hope we all know what this is by know - Bonus Features The Making of Kill Bill - choice scenes from the film along with interviews from characters and producers, director, etc. All very boring in honesty. Advantages: great music, acting and storyline
Disadvantages: only two episodes on this one dvd, and they cut the tune!

...Isn't it wonderful when those child hood memories come back to you, and whats even better is when they are in snazzy updated (graphics and sound wise anyway) version, such as this dvd. Fraggle rock, as most can remember was another genius creation from Jim Henson. For those out of the loop, or are lucky enough to be too young to remember, he's the same man who is responsible for the existence of the muppets, sesame street and of course - the fraggles!
