Disadvantages: some gross bits!!

...i went to see this film a couple of years ago at the cinema with my friends and we all agreed we have never seen such a funny film which is also romantic. freddie prinze jr (zack) and rachel leigh cook (laney) are typical high school students. one very popular (zack) the other a bit of a geek (laney)!! after the summer break zack returns to school to find that his girl friend has found a new man. zack is gutted by this news and his mates make a bet with him, the bet is that he has to turn the most unpopular girl in school into the prom queen and he only has 6 weeks to make this transformation. laney boggs- unpopular girl who loves art and has never been kissed or had a boyfriend, her mother died when she was young and she lives with her brother and father. future prom queen?? i dont think so, but zack does!! the story shows how... Advantages: Another brilliant high school comedy
Disadvantages: Released when so many of the same were!

...Shes all that is another brilliant high school comedy that deserves only a brilliant write up. Fredi prince Jr plays a totally cool guy that is dumped by his girlfriend only a short time from the school prom. Zack (Fredie Prince Jr) then places a bet that "any girl, with the right look, and the right boyfriend can be the prom queen". his over confident friend takes up this bet and the story then follows Zack in his conquest to win his bet. Of course this is never the case, as Zack falls for Laney Cox, the hopeless girl which the bet is over. The story shows how Zack is hurt by the way he is treating laney. Further twists follow as Zack confronts his best friend, life, and the new love of his life. The acting in this film is also nothing short of brilliant, the directing is also nothing short of marvollous. Hats off to the whole cast... Read review
