Yorkshire From The Air DVD

Advantages: Fun for all the family, even if it is 60 yrs old!

...I'm sure most of us have seen the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz! Dorothy, played by a then very young Judy Garland, and her little Yorkshire Terrior Toto are hurled up into the air by a tornado in her bungalow, and land in a place called Oz. The film starts in black and white, and is wonderfully turned to colour when they reach Oz. The house lands on the wicked witch of the East. The good witch advises her the only way she can get back home is to follow the yellow brick road to see the wizard of Oz, and to wear the red slippers which the now dead witch is wearing. So, along with the hundreds of little munchkins and the good witch to say goodbye to her, she and Toto merrily start making their way along the yellow bring road. Advantages: very funny, great storyline, based on true story

...Description: This film is about the girls of Rylstone's Women's Institute from Yorkshire. The plot is about one of the women's husband is diagnosed with leukemia in 1999 and he sadly passes away. Now usually the women create a calendar with pictures of the Yorkshire Dales throughout however Annie Clarke and her best friend Chris Harper decide to raise money for Leukemia research by taking pictures of themselves in the nude rather than the Dales for the latest calendar. They were hoping for many local people to buy the calendar however it ended up being a worldwide seller !! ...Air Force One This film is not one to be missed, it combines staggering speacial effects with touching moments of sublime acting. Harrison For stars as the President Of The United States of America, on board his own private air ship, Air Force One. Unfortunately for him, his daughter and wife are put in to jeopardy when terrorists take over the plan. I would recommend this file to any action lovers, i enjoyed it from start to finish. However you would be better advised to see the matrix, or fight club.... Read review
