A big problem with this DVD is that it is rather disjointed. The section “Geri’s postures” is a series of poses one after the other without much connection. It offers a workout, but without flowing from one posture to the next.
Yoga is helpful to develop the body and mind. Geri’s yoga does offer a reasonable challenging workout using core strength, flexibility, and stamina. However, a lot of this comes from the sun salutation. I would recommend this DVD as a reference to learn the postures and perfect them. Advantages: very easy, good for those starting out Disadvantages: very very superficial.
...I was somewhat bemused by this, its yoga lite , however maybe I am being unfair. If you of average to poor fitness and flexibility the techniques here may be beneficial. You will see changes in your supplness and generalhealth only if you follow this dvd with conistency and persistance. It is well presented , the instructions are clear and the progression is methodical and systematic.
What it will give is a hour to yourself which is precious.
However for real yogis this may prove somewhat lacking in real depth. The odd thing is yoga is all about breathing, posture and discipline , here in this DVD its all about just stretching. I would not class this as a real yoga video.

Advantages: no more than any other fitness dvd Disadvantages: poorly put accross information
...As my family and friends all know i like a bit of keep fit, i was presented with this as a gift. No offence to the kind person who bought it for me but its the worst of a bad bunch of yoga dvd`s
As the Instructor Seane Corn demonstrates the powerful practice of Vinyasa yoga, or rather she attempts to. What she actually does is just works out and talks through what shes doing and if you cant keep up well tough!
There are a few points during the dvd when they back track to go over whats been done so far but they are few and far between. Perhaps if you are already familuar with this type of yoga you will find this dvd ok but if you are a learner like me then it will be of virtually no use to you.
Vinyasa yoga is aparently designed to combine rythmic breathing with your bodys movement to provide you with spiritual and physical health...
