performance by rock giants Yes. Original members Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire and Alan White are teamed with a superb orchestra for such classic Yes songs as 'Close to the Edge', 'Starship Trooper' and 'Roundabout'. They are among the highlights of an outstanding concert, part of the unique Yes Symphonic tour of 2001. It was a long held dream that Yes would one day tour with an orchestra. Their carefully crafted arrangements and melodic themes lend themselves to the full glory of a symphonic treatment. Crashing finales and wild extemporisation are all part of the 30 year Yes musical story - typified by such epics as 'Gates of Delirium'. The rich variety of Yes music is complemented by the young and dynamic European Festival Orchestra, conducted by Willhelm Keitel. They play with all the enthusiasm of rock musicians during a two and a half hour show recorded in Amsterdam. The programme includes some of the band's most memorable themes, notably 'Long Distance Runaround', 'And You And I' and 'I've Seen All Good People'. There are also solo spots for guitar virtuoso Steve Howe and stirring versions of the bands greatest hits 'Roundabout' and 'Owner of a Lonely heart'. Watch out for a shattering version of 'Starship Trooper' in which group and orchestra lock into a mind-boggling groove.

Advantages: Too many to mention Just ENJOY Disadvantages: Hours spent watching 10
I was one of those lucky few who was there on the day. The day that music changed the world something that has continued ever since but has never been achieved up to this standard. I have been to many many live gigs but this one comes right at the top, I can still remember the shivers down my spine as I felt the excitement from crowds and performers alike so, when the concert was released on DVD I decided to purchase it. All proceeds from this dvd goes to the Band Aid trust to continue their help in feeding the world.
The 4 disc DVD is beautifully presented in a fold out cover which slips into a protective box., It contains an informative booklet giving information and glossy colour photographs from that day.. I was also interested to see that it contained some unseen footage and a documentary which was shown on the BBC a year after ...
Advantages: Well acted, Great Book Adaptation Storylines, Fun for All Ages Disadvantages: Each Movie is About Three Hours Long
be ignored by the overall storyline.
I was slightly disapointed by this third story since it really didn't go by the books my L.M Montgomery at all. The first two movies are at least based on her books , but this movie was almost entirely made up. I was hoping the third movie would follow the other books about Anne as she is grown up with Children.
Still, the movie was well made and entertaining. It was good to see the actors again, and the costumes anad attention to detail from the World War I era are fantastic. It's not as good as the first two movies, but well worth a watch.
******Conclusion*****
All these movies in the BoxSet; Anne of Green Gables, The Sequel , and The Continuing Story, are so much fun. Children around the age of 7 and up will enjoy the first one. While children more around the age of 10 and up would ...
Advantages: The best of Eddie Izzard in just one box! Disadvantages: People spot it and want to borrow it!
MMVI Eddie Izzard liveBoxSet
Unrepeatable, Definate Article, Glorious, Dress to Kill, Circle & Sexie all in one beautiful boxset.
I have one question for starters. Do you like Eddie Izzard?
If the answer is YES! then buy this boxset! It's Eddie at his absolute best with so much choice of what to watch. The shows featured range from 1994 to 2003, although Eddie has been around a lot longer!
Unrepeatable is the very first glimpse we have in this fine selection. Filmed in 1994 and including DVD extras such as an Audio Commentary, Trivia Track, Photo Gallery and a Bleeped Audio Track. The audio tracks are definately worth a listen once you've watched the show properly as its Eddie, seemingly off the cuff making remarks on his own work - classic comedy.
Definate Article is next in the showcase, filmed in 1996. This is ...
