Xbox Live is a definite YES.

Advantages: play against realtime opposition
Disadvantages: none.

Xbox live is undeniably the main reason to own an Xbox, I would go as far as saying that you might as well not bother owning one if you have never gamed online! I went with the gold version, which gives you full access to online gaming, and also offers gamer feedback, online leaderboards and probably most importantly, the ability to talk (abuse jokingly) your opponents live via the headset. I also like the way that you can see what games your friends are playing online from your PC! However, if you do prefer to play single player games, rather than against realtime opponents, the downloadable content on Xbox Live is a great place for enhancing the experience of games you own via new levels, items, tracks, vehicles, weapons, characters- anything you want really. Three words - Get Xbox Live. ...

Living In Oblivion review

Advantages: Well acted, keeps you engaged throughout
Disadvantages: None

Living In Oblivion is a low budget independent film written and directed by Tom DiCillo and starring Steve Buscemi and Dermot Mulroney. Sure, these aren't A-list stars, but that lends itself to the story. If it was a film about the making of a film and you had George Clooney and Brad Pitt pretending to be small time actors you wouldn't believe it. That's why it was better to use less well known actors, it pulls you more into the story. The film takes place during one day on set of a low budget movie, and documents all the problems that the director, Nick (Buscemi), and everyone else can encounter, from equipment malfunctioning to office politics to actors forgetting their lines. It's almost like a documentary, it is very realistic and gives you the complete story as to what it's like trying to get a film made. There are a few ...

Review of Living in Oblivion DVD

Live in Texas

Advantages: A CD/DVD package that will please most fans for £9.99
Disadvantages: So much more could (should?) have been done with the DVD...

People?s opinions of Linkin Park are bound to be divided. After Limp Bizkit opened nu-metal to a wider commercial market, Linkin Park were certainly one of the first bands to capitalise. Some see them as a sell out (boy band with nu-metal trappings), while others no doubt like them for much the same reason! I think Hybrid Theory was a great debut album, setting Linkin Park ahead of their peers and deservedly selling bucket loads. My cynical side says they?re milking it a little though. Over six million sales of the long awaited follow-up Meteora, yet they?ve still felt the need for a remix album and now live CD/DVD package in that time? Still Live In Texas coincides with a UK tour and comes just in time for Christmas, so maybe it?s to be expected. Life In Texas is technically a CD with bonus DVD I believe. It comes in a special 2CD ...
