X-Men Origins: Wolverine is yet another film of the Marvel film franchise. X-Men of course has become popular in film and in Animated series. This film pretty much pushes limits to the top, as this is a fantastic film to start a wolverine series on.
In the 19th century, a boy named James is very ill in bed. He is accompanied by his friend, Victor. As his father comes up stairs to see how James is doing, Victor's father bangs on the front door. As James' father goes to see to him, gun shots can be heard a few seconds later. James runs out of the room, to see his father dead on the floor. Victor's father looks drunk, and James feels something weird happen to him... Claws start coming from his fists, and he runs up to Victor's father and stabs him in the chest with them. Victor's father then tells James that he is his real father, thus James realising he and Victor are brothers. James and Victor run out into the night and live the next 100 years through wars and massacre. They are soon exposed to who they are, and when they are sent to excecution, somehow, they do not die. After being put in a cell, they are visited by a man named Willian Stryker, who tells them that he needs them for a group named "Team X". After getting what they are after, a substance called Adamantium, the group take matters a bit too far, thus leaving Victor and Team X.
Six years later, now known Logan, he lives his own life with his wife, Kayla, who works as a school teacher. But Logan is soon contacted by Stryker once more, who needs him to defeat Victor after going after previous members of Team X and killing them.
Cast Hugh Jackman as James Howlett / Logan / Wolverine Liev Schreiber as Victor Creed / Sabretooth Danny Huston as William Stryker Lynn Collins as Kayla Silverfox Taylor Kitsch as Remy LeBeau / Gambit will.i.am as John Wraith Daniel Henney as David North / Agent Zero
I recommend to any hardcore X-Men fans and those who love action. Basically, the X-Men film series started with us knowing hardly anything about Logan's past, and here we go!
The special effects are amazing, and i really hope we can get more from Hugh in the future.
Rating: 5/5

Hugh Jackman can't escape Wolverine's claws as he returns for a fourth turn as the Marvel ... more
mutant. Gavin Hood (RENDITION, TSOTSI) directs this film that takes place before the three previous X-Men movies and explores Wolverine's mysterious past.
