I originally went and saw this film mainly because there was nothing better to see, but I was also a fan of the X-men when I was young. This film is suprisingly good and not just for under 15's. Anybody thinking it will be O.K. for a laugh will be impressed. Without spoiling it too much I will say that all the old characters are there and the creators manage to make the whole film seem nearly real, impressive in a film where mutants are fighting each other with super human powers. This film seemed to be designed however bearing in mind X-men 2. The bad guys are still alive at the end and the war has not yet been won...
