The most recent comic book heroes to make it to the big screen are the X-Men. This big budget film is very good entertainment. The story is good fun if a little on the light side. But this won’t bother you as you are immersed in the outstanding special effects, well-choreographed fight scenes and some cracking one liners (mostly from Wolverine). If you leave reality at the door and don’t take the plot too seriously, then the X-men is a seriously entertaining film. After the success of this film and the open-ended conclusion the door is wide open for a sequel. So we should only a year or two for more marvellous fun and adventure.
