when it was first announced that the marvel comics X-Men would be made into a film , it generated a lot of excitement to combine the fantastic superheroes and their special talents with modern day special effects however i think X-Men has suffered from its own hype and I have a feeling that the expected Fantastic Four and Spiderman films will suffer the same fate...it is always difficult to emulate the fantastic storylines and imagination of the authors of Marvel namely Stan Lee , i think the film although great effects lacks any real substance and although 'watchable' ..The Matrix it is not.
