This dvd is a extremely interesting look into the life of Canadian professional wrestler Brett Hart. The film follows Hart in the summer of 1996-through to the infamous Canadian screw job at the 1997 survivor series in Montreal.
The film chronicles Harts personal rivalry and friendship with Vince Kennedy McMahon, by bringing in poignant examples of the difference ideas both have for the wrestling business and for its future. It shows Hart at the top of his game both professionally and personally.
The film has a definite emotional intensity that will only find in a few wrestling documentary and do to the fact that it wasn't sanctioned by the wwf has an interesting slant on the motives of the McMahon family and there executives. The film also shows multiple wrestlers who fans will recognise along with showing Harts family in some good scenes
The most interesting point in the film is the Screw job and for the first time we see pro wrestling like we have never seen it before. Harts reaction is extremely good entertainment if nothing else as his confrontation with Vince McMahon. Disadvantages include the lack of coherent structure all though this hardly a major issue and generally just a tad bit too long. All in a good nights entertainment
