Production Year: 2000 - Action/Adventure - Director: Joseph McGinty - Original Language: English - Classification: 15 years and over - Starring:Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, Bill Murray, Kelly Lynch, Tim Curry, Sam Rockwell, Crispin Glover
Plot: With a crack of her gold whip and a shimmy into her snug superhero suit, Lynda Carter perfectly embodied the tough, sassy spirit of 'Wonder Woman' in this television adaptation of the original comic book series. The male-dominated superhero genre got a feminist jolt when Wonder Woman first appeared on screens in 1976, with Carter taking on all manner of evildoers in her attempts to ensure that justice prevails. Set during World War II, Season One began with government agent Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner) bringing the Amazonian princess to America, where she helps him fight Nazis and other forces of evil. Moved to a different network for its second season, 'Wonder Woman' was also relocated to the modern day, where its star works by day as a Peter Parker-style worker, clad in glasses and unassuming business clothes. But when crime comes calling, a quick twirl sees Wonder Woman transformed into a superhero vixen, making the world a better place with the help of her magic belt, bullet-proof bracelets, and magical lasso. This release contains the entire series, which while only lasting three seasons, remains a cult favourite to this day thanks to syndication.

Advantages: Lots of 24 Disadvantages: Not enough time in the day
...I didnt watch any of 24 on the TV but my boyfriend recommended it to me and ever since that day i have been hooked. This is the best TV show i have ever seen and am totally addicted. This boxset of all 3seasons was expensive but well worth the money. I think i watched all 3seasons in the space of 2 weeks and considering how many episodes there are, that is alot of TV viewing.
Each season takes a look at terrorist threats. Jack Bauer played by the brilliant Keifer Sutherland works at CTU 'counter terrorist unit'. Each series takes place over 24 hours so each episode equates to 1 hour. It is up to CTU on each doomed day to save the US from terrorist activity.
Lets take a breakdown look at each season;
Season1 - Information is leaked to CTU informing them that there is a terrorist plot to assassinate David Palmer (Dennis...

Advantages: Box set offering half a season per set Disadvantages: price
...I've bought 2 Xena boxsets and a single DVD of the final episode and I thing they're all great, the advantages of the boxsets being that you can get all you favourite episodes in one go and have fun with a Xena marathon.
I bought the Season Three Boxset one, Season Five boxset one and the Final episode directors cut.
Both the boxsets had my favourite episodes from my favourite seasons, epsiodes such as "The Debt parts 1 & 2" in the S3set and "Purity", "Back in the Bottle" in the S5 set makes up the entire "Chin" storyline.
Plus great S5 eps such as "Chakram", "Lyre, Lyre Hearts Afire" and "Little Problems" make the boxsets a great deal.
The Season Finale directors cut, is a stand-alone release and features the last two eps as a tv-movie and has great special features such as commentaries from directors and cast, image...
