Ahh...memories. When I was a small girl in America, The Wonderful World of Disney would show films in the evening one night a week. The many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was one of the films that would appear every now and again, and I would sit down to watch it with great delight. I was such a huge fan, that my parents bought me Winnie The Pooh print dresses from the local Sears department stores, and I would have that identical dress again and again as I grew to the next size until at last, alas, I was too old to fit in the smaller children's sizes. This film was responsible for my great love of Pooh; it was many years before I had the good fortune to get my hands on the A.A. Milne classic stories with their original illustrations. I have to admit to still having rather a soft spot for this film above all other animatedPooh.

This the sweetest film! My brother gave this DVD to me for Christmas this year (bear in mind I'm 22) and honestly, bits of it made me cry! It's a great film for children to learn the values of friendship and not to "judge a book by it's cover" or believe too much hearsay. There are fun and frolics just like in all the Winnie the Pooh films, and they guarantee at least a smile if not a great laugh. The story line is not too obvious for children. It is nice to see Roo (and a little bit of Piglet) as a focus in this film as he isn't normaly much of starring role in the Pooh films; so it is good for those who have Piglet down as their favourite character :)

What a great DVD. My son is 2 and this year was the first Halloween that he was aware of. Pooh and friends helped him understand and see the fun in dressing up with friends. When the trick or treaters knocked on our door this year, he ran excitedly to the door shouting Pooh Bear, Pooh Bear. As always Pooh and friends are full of fun and gamesand as always there is a moral to the story. A clever mix of ghosty / ghouly bump in the night halloween fun, but in perfect Disney style, never scary. Yet another enchanting tale from the pens of Disney,,,,,,,a must have for all little ones out there, and all us larger ones who always have and always will love Pooh Bear and friends ...
