Early Life
William Wallace was born in c. 1270 in Elderslie, Renfrewshire and had an older and younger brother, Malcolm and John. He was said to have gone to the High School which is now 'The High School of Dundee' and spent most of his childhood growing up in the nearby village of Kilspindie.
