DVD Description
David Attenborough narrates this wildlife special on the eagle. There are 60 different eagles, a lot of whom are captured here with stunning aerial photography.
Advantages: See stuff that you wouldn't normally see. Disadvantages: The music and narrator are poor.
...The difference with this DVD and others is that the cast of the show is the African Wildlife.
There are no big name presenters just a norrater who is telling what and why the animals are doing.
There are few points i want to share with you without giving the whole plot away.
Unlike most other animal documentaries they have a team of vets which do step in and help the animals which i find quiet strange as on the box i states the scriptwriter is mother nature!
I know it's cruel and hand of heart i would probably find it hard not trying to help animals in danger but in animal documentaries surely you have to film and show the public the true circle of life!?
But then on the other hand i will point out a good reason when they did get involved, they found a young male leopard dead so they took it back to teh lab to try and find...

Advantages: An exquisite documentary in every respect. Quality, ... Disadvantages: ...not quantity. Special features would be welcomed. Specialist Audience.
...is not a price that is going to cripple the consumer, but by the same token £6.99 is hardly a bargain either for a dvd of this length. When you are considering a dvd, the question of wheteher it will lend itself to repeated viewings comes to the fore. For a programme like this, the answer is individual and, from a personal point of view, unequivocably yes.
Most of the Attenborough and BBC collaborations are expensive. For example, 'Planet Earth' and 'The Life of Mammals' both retail at £29.99 from Play.com. True, these dvds contain several hours of documentary, while you are paying £6.99 here for the equivalent of just one programme, but none of the series I have seen contains an episode to rival the overall quality of the wildlifespecial, 'Tiger'.
Others titles in this series are : Leopard, Eagle and Serpent....

Advantages: Good entertainment, decent performances, perfect brainless fun. Disadvantages: Parts of the film stretch credibility. Disappointing ending.
...INTRODUCTION
For a relatively new kid on the block, Shia LeBeouf seems to be cropping up in a fair few films these days. First he was being mothered by Carrie-Ann Moss in Disturbia, then hanging out with a bunch of robots and Megan Fox in Transformers, after which he was swanning about with aliens and that creaky old bloke with the whip and Fedora in the latest Indy instalment, and now he gets to spend a whole film in close proximity to Michelle Monaghan. Some guys get all the luck. I want his job. I was in the DVD store, casting about for a decent actioner to take home for the extended family to watch (my in-laws have a projector and I was looking for ?big screen? material for movie night) when Eagle Eye caught my attention. I don?t usually rent films without knowing anything about them, but the cover blurb was intriguing...
