Advantages: Catchy , Lyrics Disadvantages: Her Voice!
like this mid-tempo pop-R&B song with it's funky beats , modern sound and electornic 'vocals'. You will definately be up and dancing once this song starts playing!
The lyrics are really catchy too ; I especially like the 'We Gotta Fight , Fight, , Fight , Fight , Fight For This Love' part. Although Cheryl didn't actually write this song , I think that it is one that she can fully relate to. After her husband's cheating scandal , Cheryl knows how it is , as she tells us with the lyrics 'Anything worth having , sure enough worth fighting for/Quit Is out of the question...'. I like the positive message in this song, that if you want something so badly then you have to work hard at it!
This song is a song which you'll either love or hate , although I must say , speaking from my experience , it really does grow on you. I can't get enough ...
Advantages: Pure class. Disadvantages: Waiting so long for the bonus track
Brigade are often overlooked in the music world. They may have the belting tunes to get themselves noticed, but there's a flaw to the plan. Will Simpson, the charismatic front man of the four-piece is the brother of (you may have already guessed from the surname!) Fightstar's resident screamer Charlie. The band have received much critical acclaim for their work, and this should be no different. From the grab-you-by-the-balls opener 'What Are You Waiting For?' to the melodic masterpiece 'Four Kids to Glockenspiel', this album is a work of art. The gap between 'Lights' and 'Come Morning WeFight' saw former drummer Nathaniel ...
Advantages: Great performances and stirring action sequences Disadvantages: A lengthy running time
female lead is Helena Bonham Carter who stars as Marla. She is excellent, delivering her vitriolic lines with razor sharp timing. The rest of cast are good in their supporting roles, but have very little to work with given that we dont get to meet any of their lives, and see them only as eventual killing machines.
Fight Club's delving into the modern day obsession with materialism is acutely perceptive, drawing on the King of Material dross, Ikea, as its primary reference. Anybody who has a modern flat furnished from corner to ceiling in their furnishings will related good humouredly to the early references to the faceless super-store. This is a baseless society we are seeing, where people are searching for something to explain away, or compensate, what is missing from their lives. The film also has earlier visionary references to ...
