who did frame roger rabbit? Review ofWho Framed Roger Rabbit? (Collector's Edition) (Live Action / Animated)by

Advantages: Good film, brillant special effects with humans and toons......... Disadvantages: none..............
A blockbuster hit from 1988, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? was an achievement in studio cooperation as much as it was in animation. The films of executive producer Steven Spielberg and his protege director Robert Zemeckis are normally distributed by Universal. But Disney Studios had the animation prowess that Universal lacked. The producers were unable to obtain the services of Popeye and Felix the Cat, whose copyright owners wanted too much money. But ... ...was dubbed by Amy Irving, who was wed to Spielberg at the time. The role of the insane villain is well cast by Christopher Lloyd, who also starred in the Zemeckis/Spielberg Back to the Future trilogy. His evil scheme to dismantle the public transportation system in place of vast highways was a social phenomenon of the 1940s and 1950s. We know that the obsessive judge is in fact a lunatic when he gushes upon the virtues of his planned freeway, with ...

Aye, it be a grand production Review ofWho Framed Roger Rabbit? (Collector's Edition) (Live Action / Animated)by
mojofilter
Advantages: Good plot, good acting, well paced Disadvantages: Maybe a bit too "toony"
This film possess the ability to completely immerse you in the plot. A good animated film generally has the ability to do this. What makes this film different is that bob hoskins had to imagine where the rabbit's head and stuff was and act around it. They made some of the dodgiest looking gadgets to aid them in making this film. They made a robotic ary, for instance, that was used for animating baby herman smoking a real cigar. It isn't the first ... ...I believe the first was the "out of the inkwell" series. The acting is good enough for the script, and the script is not incredibly well written, but is by no means unenjoyable. There is also a overwhelming feeling that the film was not rushed, which helps immerse you. If you don't like cartoons, don't watch this film. The whole thing has a cartoon-type feel about which i enjoyed buy other folks might find it unapealing. I can't really comment of ...

I know it's sad but....... Review ofWho Framed Roger Rabbit? (Collector's Edition) (Live Action / Animated)by

Advantages: Great family film Disadvantages: May be a bit long for younger children
...... I remember going to see this in the cinema back in 1988. In those days a pre-film short was still common and much of the audience didn't realise the cartoon at the beginning was actually the main feature. For those of you too old or too young to know, this was the first ever full length feature film to have full interaction between real actors and cartoon characters. It took 2 years to make. It's the story of a drunk private investigator (Bob ... ...commit. In helping poor Roger our reluctant hero learns to laugh again. We also get to see loads of our favourite cartoon characters with special appearances by Betty Boo, Doanld and Daffy, Dumbo and Yosemite Sam. Me and my kids still watch this one and as I got it out to write this there were howls of protest as I put it away without watching it all the way through. We're going to watch the whole of it again tomorrow! Great fun movie, plenty for ...

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Review ofWho Framed Roger Rabbit? (Collector's Edition) (Live Action / Animated)by

Advantages: A Brilliant film for the whole family Disadvantages: Jessica Rabbit :0)
For those of you who have never seen this 1988 classic - it was a groundbreaking film of its time that intergrated animation into "real" films in a seamless manner.
This film will have you transfixed from start to finish, and I personally don't think there is a boring bit in it.
Outline of the story: (Hopefully without giving too much away)
Mr Acme owns Toontown where all the Toons happily live. Judge Dooms (Christopher Lloyd) wants to destroy ... ...hating Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) who is a Private Investigator. Roger is already associated with him as he has hired Eddie to investigate Roger's wife - the lovely Jessica to see if she has been playing "pattycake" with anyone else (Makes more sense when you see the film) Can Eddie save Roger - and between them can they save Toontown?
Starring:
Bob Hoskins
Christopher Lloyd
Charles Fleischer
joanna Cassidy
Kathleen Turner
Mel Blanc
And ...

Who Framed Rodger Review ofWho Framed Roger Rabbit? (Collector's Edition) (Live Action / Animated)by
StaticShock
Advantages: Great Action, Great story line, Great animation Disadvantages: None that i could find
...real life actors Anthony Hopkins who plays the private detective that rodger rabbit hires to prove his innocence is excellent in this film his timing and comic merth help to show this film in its best.
Catherline Turner who plays the voice of Jessica rabbit adds life to a lady bunny that had a lot of the male population drooling.
The basic story line is as follows ...Anthony Hopkins caracter dosnt like to work for cartoons any more not after his ... ...police think it was rodger who killed the victim after pictures of the victim and Rodgers wife Jessica show them playing patty cake (the police think that this is Rodgers motive for killing the victim) i wont spoil the plot for those of you that havent see this film yet by telling you any more but let me just say this film is funny, entertaining and good for most of the family.
My personal favourite bit of this fim have to be the relationship between ...
