*Episode 8, Fathers day, was one of the best written episodes as we see The Doctor and Rose travel back to 1987 to see when Roses father was killed by a hit and run driver. Rose suddenly decides to save her father and in doing so she damages the fabric of time, allowing flying creatures called the 'reapers' in through the rip to devour the entire human race. As the doctor takes refuge in a church with a wedding party the 'reapers' begin destroying the earth.
In this episode youare made to feel that this could be the end of the Doctor as we see him lose against one of the 'reapers'

better to have each episode in full. With the 76 min feature (as sold here as an added extra) which is all it really is.
What is more the DVD sells itself as being a useful resource for information on tracing your family tree. It is not. Anyone with one GCSE (or even 11+) could guess at the information contained ie. that birth, marriage and death records, and census records are an important part of the research. This programme simply states that and give no practical guidance..
All I can say is that it is a good job the series is being re-run on digital tv.
MY ADVICE - STAY AWAY!!!
