Who said women can't kick some butt (ok maybe in certain scenes, they show that they can't), but still a real feel good movie. Its directed by Jonathan Kaplan, and the length of the movie is 99mins. ...was invincible, so when the unforgiven begins and you see Mr Eastwood as a run down pig farmer, to me it was an unwelcome shock. As the film develops though you understand that it is a very necessary part of the film. The movie is packed with stars including Gene Hackman and Morgan freeman, each and every one of them giving an outstanding performance. I have watched this film over and over. The plot is not overly complicated, rather simple, in fact, and follows many other films with a similar plotline. This does not stop the film being good, but limits its potential, as the combination of cinematography, directing and poignant acting is smooth, and you feel they could have given more with a more adventurous tale.
