Wanting to Die as he Lived!

Advantages: Good story, good acting
Disadvantages: A Western, John Wayne!

The Shootist was John Wayne’s last ever film as he soon after dies. I was forced to watch this by hubby as it was his turn to pick what we watched. Who shot what in the where now?

Advantages: A true classic of the genre.
Disadvantages: May suffer from old prejudices against westerns but not if given a chance

Disadvantages: Can draw it out too long in places
