They just don't make them like they used to

Advantages: Riveting, four main stars, the score, the direction, where shall I stop?
Disadvantages: None for me, although it's long and slow, which may not be your cup of tea

...here for inspiration, too. Once Upon A Time In The West has been released on various DVD formats. Sadly, I only have the privilege of having seen it as a film only production, but I'm likely to go and buy the film in all its glory and plethora of extras. Rarely am I bothered by extras, but this may just be the one exception. ...

Geronimo

Advantages: Loads of Action, Shooting incidents, Good Actors
Disadvantages: Some battles were not historically accurate

...The Apaches are led by Geronimo played by Wes Studi and are refusing to give up their land without a fight. The film has many battles and some are quite gruesome. In the film Geronimo is portrayed as a fierce warrior, but also someone who you can grow to like as there are many examples of him having friendships with US Army personell especially lieutienant Gatewood. ...an Apache Scout to find Geronimo and convince him to surrender. However in the end the Apaches are shaped to florida to go to jail and so are the Apache Scouts that helped the Army. It is in the train when you see one of the main scouts telling Geronimo how he wished he didn't join the army but helped the Apache but another Indian tells the Scout that because of his actions he would be hated forever. Wanting to Die as he Lived!

Advantages: Good story, good acting
Disadvantages: A Western, John Wayne!

The Shootist was John Wayne’s last ever film as he soon after dies. I was forced to watch this by hubby as it was his turn to pick what we watched. I have to say that it wasn’t too bad and probably the best one I have seen John Wayne in, so far! John Wayne plays the role of John Bernard Brooks who finds out that he is dying of cancer. Some say he's dead...some say he never will be

Advantages: Great acting, scenery
Disadvantages: None I can think of
