A John Wayne classic.

Advantages: It is a classic. Perfect Sunday afternoon film.
Disadvantages: Hard to believe that this was made nearly 50 years agao.

Review of Rio Bravo (DVD)

Down by the River...

Advantages: Marilyn Monroe looking beautiful and singing well, good cast, beautiful views
Disadvantages: Some dull bits, it's a Western!

Review of River Of No Return (DVD)

Take this ride....

Advantages: Stunning to look at, with high quality acting, script and sensibilities.
Disadvantages: Slightly overlong at 132 minutes, and the DVD is light on extra features.

Some say he's dead...some say he never will be

Advantages: Great acting, scenery
Disadvantages: None I can think of

Dunbar, not Dumb Bear!

Advantages: Fantastic visuals, Costner
Disadvantages: Can draw it out too long in places

...most powerful films to date, Dances With Wolves is a thoughtful and emotional tale that requires a bit of concentration.
