Nothing 'plain' about this movie...'
Advantages: Top western, good measure of violence
Disadvantages: None
...mystery is more so in High Plains Drifter as the plot unfurls and we also see elements of the supernatural, which is also witnessed in his later film, Pale Rider. The movie is wonderfully written by Ernest Tidyman, who also brought us Shaft in the seventies. Spaghetti Western Heaven
Advantages: All together in a collection, Clint eastwood, the Music, DVD features
Disadvantages: none
This special collection has got to be the best Western colection around. Even if you are not a Western fan particularly, the atmosphere will have you reeled in straight away. A Fistful of Dollars features, of course, the Man With No Name (i.e. Clint) arriving into the dusty town to find two rival gangs at war, the Baxters and the Rojos. For a night of epic gun-slinging
Advantages: Two brilliant films in on set, for a reasonable price
Disadvantages: The hours you'll find devoting to learing lines and catchphrases
...The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a film full of well known lines and scene that keeps you on the edge of your seat, followed up by Hang 'em High and you can't go wrong.
The most attractive thing about this set for me was the fact that each film is on a seperate disc. For some reason it double sided disks irritate me, and when it comes to such epic films as these, i feel that each deserved their own disc.

Advantages: great acting,
Disadvantages: a bit slow in parts
Clint eastwood's unforgiven is a good mordern western that you want to watch on a sunday afternoon when i'ts poring with rain.It's an exciting classic that won four 1992 academy awards including best picture and best director.
This movie captures the atmosphere of the old classic's .duels,showdowns before sun up,winchester rifles,mules,hookers and sheriffs.It does this superbly with an amazing cast.

He was hacking on me!
Advantages: Great film
Disadvantages: None really
Young Guns is the 1988 film with an all star brat pack cast that tells the story of the emergence of Billy the Kid and the regulators he reputedly rode with. The film is one of the more entertaining modern Westerns, and remains set as one of the better known of the modern era.
