...at an old fort called THE ALAMO in order to give General Sam Housten time to raise an Army to fight Santa Anna. The overall story is that the Mexican Army arrives and attacks THE ALAMO and in the end kills all the soldiers at the fort. REVIEW: If you like Westerns then I would definetely recommend this film. ...previously only flicked over to Deadwood when it was on the TV be it waiting for something else to start or during breaks I had obviously struggled to pick up what was going on. ...look at the legend of Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Released in this new form it adds extra scenes which give more character study although in places it does seem like there are still parts missing. Nevertheless it is a beautifully shot film which due to the subject matter has a sense of inevitable doom about it. Your dropped right into the action from the start but given no explanation why, you won't find out the reasons behind why a group of men are chasing 1 man until almost near the end of the movie. The main characters are Gideon (Pierce Brosnan) & Carver (Liam Neeson) with a very small supporting cast.
