A brilliant biographical film

The Great Gold hunt

Advantages: Great action scenes and a very interesting story line...
Disadvantages: Not many

The Good The Bad and The Ugly - The Best

Advantages: Amazing story, amazing action, amazing gunfighting and beautiful background music
Disadvantages: A bit lenghty

The Good the bad and the ugly is one of the best all time classic mvoies that I have ever watched in my whole entire life. It is soo cool, the style of clint eastwood the good and then the bad's killing style and comedy of the ugly is just amazing. The movie potrays the life of all these three amazing characters and then how they all end up meeting and their lifes intersect. The movie has amazing drama and amazing action, gun fights and all old western ...
...watch movie before you die. The story is amazing as well, a movie which everyone in your family can watch. The only thing is that the movie is a bit lenghty but it doesnt make a difference as you'll be enjoying it all the while. Wayne's Worst???

Advantages: Some good acting
Disadvantages: Bad effects, black and white may put some off

Well stupid me when I said hubby could pick the film as I knew it was bound to be a John Wayne but I never knew just how bad it could be. This being the first film which John Ford directed and the start of the working relationship between Ford and Wayne is shows how old the film is. The storyline to the film is pretty basic with a group of 6 people leaving a town on the stage to head for Lordsberg. The gang include an alcoholic Doctor, an ex-prostitute, ...
...and a lady who is off to meet her husband who unbeknown to everyone is pregnant. The stage is driven by a bumbling fat man who really is funny and he is helped by the sheriff. Review of Stagecoach (DVD)

A John Wayne classic.

Advantages: It is a classic. Perfect Sunday afternoon film.
Disadvantages: Hard to believe that this was made nearly 50 years agao.
