the 2008 grand slam and autumn international victory against Australia!) As every Welshman knows the life-blood of the country is in fact the red of the national team and the spirit of the nation ebbs and flows with the success and failure of their heroes. The Official History of Welsh Rugby presented and narrated by Jonathan Davies is interspersed with interviews from Dai Smith Vivien Jenkins Clive Rowlands Robert Jones Phil Bennett and Shane Williams and traces the ups and downs of the Dragons from the foundation of the Welsh Rugby Union in 1881. The programme features highlights of Wales' epic 13-12 victory over the All Blacks in 1935 and Cardiff's even more amazing triumph in 1953 which ended with the captain Bleddyn Williams being carried off the pitch on the supporters' shoulders. But of course it is the Grand Slam teams that are given the priority and particularly the Welsh teams of the seventies. The Grand Slam theme continues in the New Millennium with sensational performances in 2005 culminating in that unforgettable win against Ireland and in 2008 when under the guidance of Warren Gatland Wales swept all before them marking a return to the glory days of the 70s. A programme to be watched again and again.

Back in eighteen eighty two a test match series between england and australia started a regular feature for cricket fans. The eighteen eighty two series provided a victory for england, and it was the australian's who got a request granted to play a fourth test match, and whilst they won, it was england who got to keep the famous ern where the ashes are kept. this dvd lasts two hours eleven minutes, and it provides a historical platform in terms of cricketing. clips shown of great catches, supreme batting performances, and legendary bowlers of cricket's all time, hall of cricketing fame. ...I think that this an excellent way to sum up the English win at the 2003 rugby world cup.
This DVD is a must have for all of those English rugby fans out there who want to treasure a little part of history on DVD.
Throughout this DVD there is tension and suspense time and time again after already seeing it several times. The quality of the DVD is excellent and truly remarkable. The sound quality is tremendous on both accounts of the crowd and the commentators. The DVD has only the best parts of the game, which in some ways is a lost because it would have been nice to have the whole match on DVD as well as the highlights throughout the game. The action replays and camera angles of the tackles and tries in this DVD are some of the best that I have ever seen.
If you are wanting to keep a part of history about England's first...
