Advantages: Hard workout, good music Disadvantages: Tiring!
I, a lot of girls go on endless diets and fitness regimes. I have purchased and completed many fitness DVDS. This DVD is my favourite fitness DVD I have ever bought or done.
The DVD was brought out by the ministry of sound back in 2004, after the huge single Call On Me (Eric Prydz), which had a music video showing people working out.
The idea of the video is bringing you club music to do a dance workout too. I am a big fan of dance music and so this was very appealing to me. I find many other fitness DVDS have music I do not know and this makes them very boring.
The DVD had five sections to the workout. The first section is the warm up, known as heat. This is a good started section as it introduces you to the workout gently combining some simple aerobic moves with some stretches.
The second section is the dance it out ...
Advantages: OK if your dishes aren't too dirty Disadvantages: Not as good as the branded products
Whilst wandering around our local branch of Tesco?s the other week I noticed a display of ?discount items? not to be confused with the Tesco Value or Tesco Market Value range.
The discount range all have a small square flash on them in yellow with the words ?discount brands at Tesco? in red and a £ sign being cut with a pair of scissors. I suppose it is yet another ploy to help us save money or at least make us think that we are saving money ? or am I being a bit sceptical?
The discount items were mainly in a range called Daisy which I hadn?t heard of before but I decided to try the washingup liquid.
I purchased the concentrated washingup liquid with antibacterial action in the 500ml size which cost me 67p. Had I chosen the standard Daisy washingup liquid in the same 500ml size it would have cost me just 57p.
The idea is ...
Advantages: effective high energy workout, easy to follow Disadvantages: not for total beginners
wearing the same clothes!). We are never introduced to the rest of the class, but they are all (Deanne included) absolutely gorgeous and obviously extremely fit. There are five other girls and also a guy, which I think is good, as men rarely feature in these sort of workouts.
~Heat~
Heat is the warm-up section of the DVD and lasts around 10 minutes. On first doing this section of the DVD, I was quite surprised at how easy the exercises were, as I was expecting something with a little more intensity - that does come later on though, so don't be fooled!
The workout is promoted as 'the ultimate dance workout', and we do see some dance moves, but from this warm-up section you should mostly expect aerobic moves. It combines quite basic steps, that (from my experience) you would come across in most other exercise DVD's available. To give you ...
