selection of diverse characters, each of whom have unique skills to help you achieve your various goals. So far, so Commandos, right? Well, sort of. While the similarities between this and Eidos' tense strategy title are clear, Desperados has plenty of tricks of its own to keep you playing. The structure is simple. You're faced with 25 levels, which you must shoot, sneak, talk, play and generally blag your way through. Yet, truth be told, the game isn't the easiest one to take on, with plenty of tricky hoops to jump through before a mission is complete. Suffice it to say, the in-built Quick Save function will be much utilised. But it's a credit to the clear, overhead 3-D viewpoint and fair learning curve that it's still a challenge worth taking up. The mix of Wild West setting (complete with saloons, jailhouses and good old fashioned shoot-outs) and a slowly evolving, involving storyline that gradually introduces more characters to play with certainly helps, and both the visual and audio work enhance the Old West feel. Sure, it can be frustrating, and you're bound to get stuck on your travels, but perseverance pays dividends. Desperados might lack the graphical majesty of some of its rivals, but don't let that blind you. This is one of the smartest, most challenging strategy games of the year. --Simon Brew

...As i am going to see bon jovi in the flesh in Manchester in June i decided i would buy the lost highway concert dvd as a warm up to the real thing, if your own and like the lost highway cd you will love this dvd, jon and the boys go straight through the album in order from start to finish which is a different way of approaching a live concert but it really works and all of the tracks sound superb live, even better than the album. As an extra treat there is an encore at the end with some familiar numbers including it's my life and wanteddead or alive, both bon jovi anthems in their own right. As for the dvd itself the sound mixed 5.1 surround sound and picture quality filmed in HD is excellent. There are some nice extra features such as stripped down performances of several of the tracks and individual band member interviews from jon...

...the heart. They had followed a secret ritual to resurrect him whereby blood is used, but by accident his nanny used tomato ketchup. This resulted in a vampire that no longer a blood sucking killer but in fact a Duck intrigued by fame and fortune.
This first full series follows Count Duckula as he travels the world by teleporting with the use of his magical castle. As he travels the world he gets in to all kinds of mischief but luckily his loyal servant Igor is on hand to help him out even when nanny seems to land them in a lot more trouble. The castle automatically returned at midnight, so there was often a race against time to be back inside to teleport safely. Count Duckula was often pursued by villains who wanted to catch him dead or alive, such as Doctor Von Goosewing who didn't buy his new found vegetarianism.

Advantages: a good film, watch a few times Disadvantages: if you dont realise the main story
...I really never realised that films could be so interesting and imaginative before I watched this film, the Sixth sense. It is a really good film which makes you delve into deeper parts than in any other films. It is about a young boy who is able to see dead people, and the film carries on with this just throughout till the end. Bruce Willis stars in the movie, and in the start of the film he gets shot, and throughout we believe or think he is alive as he talks to the boy, yet he isn't alive, he is a ghost who wants to feel like he is alive, but sadly he isn't.
The film was really enjoyable and without realising right at the end that bruce willis was dead all the way through it was very strange and wouldn't have served that good. I watched the directors comments which were interesting , where they said that they only used the colour 'red...

Advantages: Funny - maybe not deliberately Disadvantages: Very poor indeed
...This is another one of those dead brought back to life now they want to eat your brains kind of films. An army vehicle drops a barrel of something somewhere. Some young lads stumble across it and force it open. this sends a cloud of gas across the local cemetary (which just happens to be being looted at the time). So The dead come alive and walk around incredibly slowly in an attempt to each peoples brains. Why they would want to eat brains I don't know. Anyway the film focus on young Jesse, one of the boys that discovered the barrel. He and his sister, and the cable guy, meet up with the 3 that were looting the cemetary and try to get away from the zombies.
This is not a good film. The story has been done time and time before, the effects are pretty standard, and it contains no stars, unless yuo count Dana Ashbrook, he was in Twin Peaks...

Advantages: Easy to Get into Disadvantages: not really suitable for children
...The mummy is one of the most watchable films I have seen in a long time,The two main stars are Rachel Wietz and Brendon Fraser.
It is set mainly in Egypt , where they are looking for the book of the dead.
But unfortunate events lead to the resurrection of "the Mummy",,( who was mummified alive for killing a priest) who slowly regenerates himself by taking parts from other peoples bodies.
He then tries to kill Rachel as he wants her as his queen, who killed herself.
But of course the hero -Brendon Frasier comes to the rescue just in time and they manage to find the book and send the mummy back into eternity.
The film had some Brilliant special effects and along with the scary bits were plenty of light, even comical parts, its well worth watching even just to see Brendon Frasier!!...
