What can you say?! It's Mickey Mouse, the one that started it all - seen here in a brilliant collection of his very first technicolor short films. Brilliant music, stunning character animation and pure fun. 70 Years on, it still doesn't get much better than this.
Highlights include the wonderful "Clock Cleaners" and Mickey's very first technicolour short film, "The Band Concert". Leonald Maltin's introductions continue to be enthusiastic but also quite open-minded and a refreshing way for Disney to introduce the shorts which, in some cases, are pretty surprising by today's expectations of The Walt Disney Company!
In such an affordable collection, this really is a must for anyone who enjoys Disney DVDs, I can't recommend it highly enough. Unfairly relegated to "bargain bin" fodder, you really ought to snap this up at bargain price. Superb nostalgia, exactly what Disney does best.
