This film is based on a true event and is the story of Johnny Cash.....(as i am sure you have all heard of but if you haven't, he was a rock and roll singer and song writer back in the 1960's) º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º A Bit about the Film:º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ Guidance Rating: 12 A bit about the Director and Producers: Well the director for this stunning film was James Mangold and the producers were James Keach and Kathy Conrad. I think a special thanks should go to them for creating such a unique film as the majority of people simply watch the films without paying any attention to these important people who made it all happen... Advantages: An engaging, touching story and exceptional performances

..."Walk the Line" chronicles the early years of legendary Country singer Johnny Cash from his childhood days, through to his rise to fame as a singer, his romance with June Carter, his decline into drug addiction and culminating in the now legendary concert at Folsom Prison in 1968. There is nothing I enjoy more than a really good biopic, one which entertains, educates and excites you whenever you watch it. For me "Walk the Line" fits that scenario perfectly, leaving me fully entertained once the film has finished, in fact despite its 124 minute duration it leaves me wanting more. What also makes this film so enjoyable is that whilst it sounds like a pretty stock storyline it is made all that more special because it is also an amazing true love story. Advantages: Great film, simply put.

...What can I say? I great adaptation of the life of one of America's greatest and most loved country singers. Joaquin Phoenix plays one of his best roles to date, and this movie is sure to "Strike a chord" with anyone who is half as much of a Cash fan as I am, I would recommend this to anyone who loves Johnny Cash, or even anyone who doesn't, you're sure to want to listen to a few of his songs one the film is over, weather you're a fan of his, or not. If you loved this film, you'll also love the spoof staring John C Reilly made last year, "Walk Hard" - It's a comedy classic, and compliments Walk the Line perfectly, you can't go too wrong with this film....
