Wales - A Walk Through The Countryside DVD

Advantages: Excellent movie and very good DVD extras
Disadvantages: Some repetition of interviews

.... The menus are intuitive and give plenty of options for you to customize the sound etc. I would have bought this DVD without the extras. I have watched the movie four times now and cannot wait until I have all three movies on DVD and am able to watch them back-to-back. This movie has taken me back to the week I spent in West Wales as a 11 year old boy; it was a hot and hazy July week and we went down the beach every day. I didn’t ogle all the teenage girls that kept on walking past me, batting their eyelashes at me; I had my head buried in Lord of the Rings! Advantages: Generally good concert, 'Old Medley' is great.
Disadvantages: Bonus features could be better. Needs less pop and more prog!

...Filmed in 1992, 'The Way We Walk' DVD shows concert footage from one of Genesis's later tours. By this time, all the big albums had been released - only the lesser known 'Calling All Stations' with Ray Wilson was still to come. As it stands, this is a pretty good concert - as expected, most of the hits are there - 'Land Of Confusion, 'Invisible Touch', 'I Can't Dance', etc. They are all pretty similar to the album versions, though there a few alterations - 'No Son Of Mine' enjoying a notable extension and some dramatic guitar-work to finish it off. 'Jesus He Knows Me' has got real pace and excitement, and Phil Collins really brings it to life as he comically assumes the role of a TV evangelist. Advantages: Amazing scenery, facinating

...list all the separate titles of each scene that are on the DVD, I will try to explain what is so amazing about this DVD. After watching this for the third time, I am still amazed at the sheer will power of Michael Palin, as he goes from one altitude to another, his personal insight into this trip is by the means of explaining to the camera, his feelings on the places he visits, the people that he meets, and the views that take his breath away. From watching the first episode until I reached the final minute I was totally blown away by the factual content, and the knowledge that he obviously needed to know about the countries he was going to be in.
